The Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute (M-ITI) is an innovation technology institute established as an associated independent non-profit research and development organization, created through a partnership between the Carnegie Mellon University and the Government of Portugal, whose members are the CMU itself, the University of Madeira and the Madeira Tecnopolo, in order to provide a home for the many collaborations between these and several other partners, in both research and education.
We provide several ways for companies to connect and collaborate with us, ranging from course sponsorships, working directly with our students, to fully established research centres and initiatives. Please feel welcome to contact us for further information.
M-ITI was at the kickoff of MAST - Module in Art, Science and Technology, a European consortium working on using Art and Design to inform the next generation of technologies that embed European social values.
