Integration of service design methods and techniques in the software development process.

Rui Jorge Araújo Alves holds a MSc in Software Engineering, his thesis was on Organizational Engineering and he is Research Assistant at Logica Service Design Lab at M-ITI, Portugal. He worked in several Industries. Rui was Project Manager at GMVIS Skysoft, in Lisbon, managing projects in the field of Security and Defense. For 4 years Rui held NATO and Portuguese security clearences. Rui was a Military Mission Systems Engineer and a Test Enginner at Airbus Military, in Madrid, Spain, for 3 years. He worked for OMIP, an Energy Stocks Market, as Project Manager. In the retail industry Rui worked as Technology Leader in Grupo Sá, in Funchal, Madeira Island. Upon graduating, Rui worked as software Engineer at the software development department at University of Madeira, Portugal.
Rui is passionate about teaching. He his an e-learning tutor and worked as a teacher for one year.
