Ken graduated from the Interactive Media program at University of Limerick, Ireland in 2003, where he studied various aspects of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, and Multimedia Design. Ken spent time employed as a Web Designer and as a freelance Graphic/web designer and obtained knowledge of design and evaluation of Computer-user support, user interface design, and human factors evaluations of computer systems along with knowledge in HTML, PHP scripting language for web applications. He went on to teach in the Visual Communications program at Raffles Design Institute, Guangzhou, China. In 2007 he moved to New Zealand and taught Graphic Communication at the Eastern Institute of Technology, Napier, Hawkes Bay. There he obtained skills and qualifications in Adult Learning, Teaching practice, Theories of Learning, & Assessments and Evaluation. Originally having come from a Fine Art Printmaking background, he has a strong interest in exploring both traditional and digital arenas.
