Afonso is a PhD student at M-ITI. He currently works as a Research Assistant on the Augmented Human Assistance (AHA) project in the NeuroRehabLab. For his undergraduate and MSc studies he did Aerospace Engineering in Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. He followed it up with an internship in the same area in Porto and then went back to Lisbon to do research in the area of Robotics. Afonso’s main interests are Robotics, Serious Games, Virtual and Augmented Reality. After he finishes his studies in Madeira he would like to work in the gaming industry.
